Skiing Aspen Ski Resort
When the snow comes, people start to
thinking Aspen and other great skiing areas. Another thought is a great time
and awesome memories to follow with family and friends. Aspen has over 4,500
acres spread out on four mountains and has amazing night life.
There are many different ski resorts
around the world but one that is well known is Aspen ski resort. It is not
only known for it’s amazing ski runs and night life but also because it has so
many activities for all ages and for everyone to enjoy.
The beautiful city of Aspen has all
the essentials of life needed such as restaurants and bars of all kinds. Or you
can just take a relaxing walk throughout the city and visit all the different
boutiques it has to offer. The buildings in the down town area all have their
own history and story to tell. One of the buildings is the UTE Bank which dates
back all the way to the 1800’s.
The population of Aspen is 6,658 as
of 2010 USA Census. Aspen was originally founded as a mining camping during the
silver boom and later was named Aspen because of the abundance of aspen trees
in the area. After the mining closed the city started to die off and then ski
resorts started to develop and today it is a major source of business. Aspen is
well known for it’s skiing resorts, music festivals and school and the aspen
institute.
Today many known celebrities retreat
to Aspen resorts to relax and enjoy all the beauty it has to offer. John Denvor
wrote two songs about Aspen after settling there. Today Aspen has some of the
most expensive real estate prices in the United States and many middle class families are no longer able to afford to live there. It is still a number one
resort for tourists.
